Create Content Calendar Ahead Of Christmas

Christmas is an incredibly busy period for everyone, including businesses, as it represents excellent opportunities to target customers and clients. While we all know the most important date in the festive calendar, it is important to make note of all the other crucial occasions in the lead-up.

This is why it is a good idea to create a content calendar for the next few weeks, as this will guide you with regards to what you upload on social media pages and blog posts to target your audience at the right time.

For instance, it is important to be aware of dates such as Black Friday (November 25th), Cyber Monday (November 28th), the 12 days of Christmas, the start of advent (December 1st), Christmas Jumper Day (December 8th), winter solstice (December 21st), Christmas Eve, and, of course, Christmas Day.

Do not forget the days after Christmas, including Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve, as well as Hannukah Festival (between December 18th and 26th), making sure your business remains all-inclusive.

Once you have made a schedule of the upcoming events, you will be able to shape a strategy around them. It will also enable you to create discussion points with your social media followers, uploading content they are likely to be interested in and making sure you include the hashtags they are searching for.
