Glowing testimonials will help to create a buzz about your brand, and provide the opportunity to create backlinks to your site.

Partnering with local businesses can be an effective way to increase your web presence. Many consumers still like to deal with local firms, even if they are buying online, so it is important to create awareness of your products or service in the community.

You may want to avoid direct competitors, but if for example, you run a hairdressing salon, you could team up with a beauty parlour that offers tanning or manicures, or a landscaping service could team up with a local garden centre.

 

  1. Use analytics tools

To increase awareness of your brand or business, employ tools such as Google Analytics to check for mentions of your website. Contact the source of the mention, asking them if they would link the mention to help drive traffic to your site.
