In order to work effectively, manage your campaign and measure your improvements, we require access to certain tools.

Below we have outlined the typical systems and tools we need access to, with instructions on how to grant us the necessary access needed.

It is vital we have access to those tools needed before we launch your campaign.

Google Analytics

What is it? Google Analytics is a free web analytics service that provides statistics and basic analytical tools for search engine optimization (SEO) and marketing purposes. The service is available to anyone with a Google account.

How do I know if I have it? Google Analytics exists as a little piece of invisible code that sits inside the pages of your website. There are a number of ways to check if you have it, but don’t worry if you are unsure of how to check, we will soon be able to let you know.

If you do have it we need to be granted access to your Google Analytics account. Here’s how:

  1. Sign in to your Analytics account.
  2. Select the Admin tab and navigate to the account view.
  3. In the account, column click User Management.
  4. Under Add permissions for, enter this email address: google@crisp.digital.
  5. Select the permissions as ‘Edit’, but you can untick the box which reads ‘Manager Users’
  6. Select Notify this user by email.
  7. Click Add.
Google AdWords

What is it? Google AdWords is an advertising service by Google for businesses wanting to display ads on Google and its advertising network.

How do I know if I have it? If you have ever run a previous advertising campaign on Google, you should already have a Google Adwords account.

If you do have an existing account, we need to be granted access to your Google Adwords account. Here’s how:

  1. Sign in to your Adwords account.
  2. Check the top right-hand corner of the Adwords interface for your Customer ID number.
  3. Make a note of the number and send it to this email address: google@crisp.digital

We will then request access to link your Adwords account with our My Client Center account. Any user with administrative access for your Adwords account can accept your invitation, through the following actions:

  1. Sign in to your Adwords account.
  2. Click the gear icon () in the top right-hand corner of the Adwords interface.
  3. Select Account Settings
  4. In the left-hand menu, click on Account Access
  5. You should be able to see an invitation from Crisp Digital to link your account to our MCC. Accept this to provide us with access to your Adwords.
Google Search Console (Webmasters Tools)

What is it? Google Search Console (previously Google Webmaster Tools) is a no-charge web service by Google for webmasters. It allows webmasters to check indexing status and optimize visibility of their websites.

To add a user, login to Google Search console:

  1. Choose a property in Search Console.
  2. Click the gear icon, then select Users & Property Owners.
  3. Click Add a new user.
  4. Type google@crisp.digital
  5. Click Add.
WordPress

To add us to your account:

  1. Login to the website
  2. Click on “Users” from the sidebar menu.
  3. Click on “Add New” and fill in the following:
    • Username: cwdevelopment
    • E-mail: wordpress@crisp.digital
    • First Name: Zest
    • Last Name: Leave blank
    • Website: Leave blank
    • Password: Click on generate strong password
    • Role: Administrator
  1. Once you have everything entered, select ‘notify this user by email’.
  2. Click the “Add New User” button.
Web Hosting

e.g. 1&1, goDaddy, 123-Reg, NamesCo, Fasthost, Heart, Yell.com, BT etc. etcWe will need

Domain Registration
