INTRODUCTION
The Next Big Thing is an annual Arts Event celebrating and awarding artists across a range of mediums. The team at The Next Big Thing needed a website built within 2 weeks which integrated with their CRM and could manage competition entries.
DISCOVERY
Due to the tight timeline, The Next Big Thing team and Crisp Digital decided to design and build the WordPress website using a theme as a template. Crisp mapped out each page to decide on the sitemap with the team and worked in an agile manner in order complete the website within 2 weeks.
OUTCOMES
The Next Big Thing website went live on schedule ready for entrants to begin submitting their competition entries. Artwork files could be uploaded to the WordPress website as part of a form submitted by each entrant. The CRM integration allowed the team members of The Next Big Thing to effectively manage their competitions and send personalised email campaigns as required. A search feature allowed website users to filter the competition entries by category and login to review their submission status. Biographies of each Judge and Mentor were also displayed on the website. The design was in keeping with UI/UX principles for simple navigation and ease of reading, as well as following the brand guidelines that were supplied to Crisp Digital from The Next Big Thing and their brand agency.
