INTRODUCTION
Starr Coaching provides coaching solutions to some of the world’s best known organisations, including Selfridges, Gucci, King, NHS, and Amazon. The team, led by author Julie Starr, have extensive experience from manufacturing to retail and IT to logistics. Crisp Digital previously worked with Starr Coaching on the re-design and re-build of their main website. The website looked to promote in-person coaching solutions to corporates, as well as showcase Julie’s books themed on coaching and mentoring within the workplace.
DISCOVERY
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the Starr Coaching team, already impressed with their new corporate website built by Crisp Digital, looked to the agency again to create a full Learning Management System with integrated marketing tools. The aim was to create a website which brought online courses to managers within corporates and SMEs through the comfort of their own home. The courses are completed online, with integrated Zoom sessions and many other desired features.
OUTCOMES
The Crisp team worked closely with Starr Coaching to develop the WordPress and LearnDash LMS website. We took on Starr Coaching’s brand principles, understood the way they worked and used this understanding to digitalise the business. LearnStarr launched with the standard LMS functions; abilities to add and run courses and lessons, provide assessment quizzes to the learner and results of these to website administrators. On top of this, Crisp built custom functionalities such as Peer Feedback questionnaires, levels of membership with private courses for corporate clients, integration with a Zoom account to automatically set up and send out links, plus many other custom features.
Starr Coaching already had a large database of website users to which we ran an email campaign introducing them to the new LearnStarr system. Email automations are used to keep users engaged throughout the course, such as reminders of next Zoom sessions and what reading should be completed next. We continue to maintain and develop the LearnStarr system with the Starr team, and have released 7 new courses in January 2022!
