A new charity, Futurestars, was due to launch in six weeks in front of hundreds of people and they needed a website to drive traffic to and collect donations. The charity offers exciting education-throughsports programmes for underprivileged children in Ghana and Togo so, naturally, there was going to be a great deal of interest at launch. We built an emotive, photographic-led site centred around the happiness that sport has bought and the direct impact it was having on underprivileged children.
Our brief was to design and develop a website to attract new donors and draw attention to the cause.
Futurestarts is now helping 4,000 children each week who are benefiting from free coaching in football, netball, athletics and PE as well free sports kits and equipment. There has also been a dramatic increase in attendance and pupil engagement at all five partner schools.
