INTRODUCTION
EKO came to Crisp Digital in 2018 looking to build an e-commerce site for their new start up business. The brand was already established in China and USA, but the franchise had recently been brought to the UK. It was Crisp’s task to create the shop and marketing strategy. The aim; to sell bins and other homeware, bringing them into the home in a new smart, eco-efficient, hygienic and stylish way.
DISCOVERY
Together, we created an in-depth list of what EKO’s site needed, which gave us the basis for our strategy plan. This included an e-commerce site to fulfil orders and track revenue, as well as to align with current brand guidelines and be agreed with the global EKO band. It was important for EKO’s site to allow for categorising and an easy search of all products. Additionally, in order to grow the business, Crisp decided that once the website was built, a marketing strategy was needed for new and returning customers.
OUTCOMES
We built the website ekohome.co.uk which launched initially in early 2019, and relaunched with updated landing page designs in 2022. The website allows users to easily search for products and see related products through cross-linking and checkout through Stripe Payment Gateway. It also uses WooCommerce to support all shop functionality, including reporting on sales figures and using coupon codes as part of marketing campaigns. Additionally, Crisp defined a marketing strategy including SEO, PPC and Facebook Marketing. The EKO team decide on which elements of Marketing work best for them and continued with Facebook Ads.
