With suppliers of print all over the globe, this client needed a way of distributing their marketing content in a secure and access-controlled way.
As an international corporation whose business includes new technological developments as well as well-established products stocked in many high street stores, our client needed a way of distributing and storing their marketing collateral for each product in a secure and access-controlled manner.
A bespoke system was needed in which the client could store marketing materials such as graphics, posters, point of sale stands, videos and much more in a manner that was accessible to a variety of users throughout the globe. During our discovery calls we took the needs of the platform further, understanding that the web users should be able to access the system from a mobile or tablet device, upload their own marketing collateral and submit these for approval to the system admins. The branding assets also needed to be categorised by country, product, type and much more to ease searchability for other web users.
Crisp Digital built a custom CSM using Laravel and MySQL to store, sort and distribute all the branding assets which the clients marketing team and agency partners produced (i.e., digital campaigns, POS activity, OOH, video etc.), across the world in a quick and seamless way.
The digital brand asset management system has enabled the client to save money as marketing materials are now no longer being duplicated in local markets, but also ensured brand consistency across the world, both instore and online.
Multiple internal stakeholders were involved in the process to ensure the content management system met the needs of a diverse audience, all with different requirements.
